Certificates of Analysis
Every lot we ship is identified by a lot number printed on the vial label.
A certificate of analysis is the document that records what testing was performed on that specific lot and what the results were. It is lot-specific: two vials of the same material from different lots have different certificates.
## What a certificate records
A certificate typically states the material identity, the lot number, the date of analysis, the analytical methods used, and the results those methods returned. Appearance and mass are recorded as observed.
## Reading the results
An analytical result describes the material that was tested. It is a measurement, not a guarantee about any other lot, and not a statement about use.
## Availability
Certificates are published per lot as analytical results come in. Where a certificate is not yet published for a lot, no certificate is claimed for it.
All materials are supplied for laboratory research use only. They are not for human or veterinary use, not food, and not drugs.
